@Coolgerb It's the stock music for the morrigi race in this game... Not much to explain :) It's a nomadic race that has been added a long time ago in one of the expansions.

Morrigi FTW.

I find that Morrigi ships, although not well armoured tend to sport a decent amount of heavy weapon turrets for big beam weapons. A favourite cruiser design of mine is a shield command section with a war mission section loaded up with particle/neutron/positron beams.

Shame the Morrigi Dreads look like outboard engines : /

Blah the dreads do look ugly...

I'm having some annoyances towards the fact that the weapon slots open too slowly and there being not enough actual 360 degrees turnable turrets. Most of the weapons tend to aim forward, which is not really great against swarms :(
