You don't fuck with the early 90s Knicks. Mark Jackson, John Starks, Anthony Mason, Charles Oakley, Xavier McDaniel, and Patrick Ewing didn't take shit from anyone. I dare you to drive the lane on those guys. They gave the Bulls all they could handle, but unfortunately never got over the hump while MJ was playing.

x-oak-ewing was my favorite knick team of all time. round 1 of the playoffs was detroit vs knicks: 'bad boys' vs. 'the neo bad boys'. most physical series i've ever seen. the following season, the league implemented the flagrant foul. sick. sick.

Id rather have both doc and harp, cause in 94 doc was out foe the season, we needed depth when starks went 2 for 18 in game 7.........riley had no other options, had to ride starks until the wheels fell off

The 92' Knicks are the best and were beaten by Chicago in a 7 game 2nd round series - that shows how strong the NBA was from 87'-93', The 93' Knicks were way better than the 94' Knicks but in 94' Jordan wasn't playing... I'd rather Doc Rivers in 93' than Derek Harper in 94'.
