Oh man I was like 3 when I saw my brother play Friday the 13th on NES. I liked the way the cabin music sounded. Now, 15 years later, i play the song to the cabin. just a short vid. tell me what u think

did you learn this by ear or was there sheet music involved? if it was sheet music, would you mind telling me where you got it from and if it was from ear, well played.

I actually play almost all my music by ear. I use the suzuki method, as it's called. The only instruments where I require sheet music for is harp and clarinet, but even then I can learn by ear. It's really easy to learn this song if you listen well.

This song has you on the edge everytime. The first part is just scary, then theres the suspenseful par and ends with an almost cheery melody...freaks the fuck out of me everytime.

Hahaha yes, you're right. It is all creepy and then a change comes by with an eerily peaceful melody to end it. And thank you very much. I tried as best I could to remember it, and I actually noticed a note mistake I made after playing it hahaha @_@;;

Well thank you. It is now over 16 years that I watched my brother play this game. I always thought this song was nice and creepy, and I would tell my brother to wait until the song ended, but of course he didn't cuz he just wanted to play and beat the game... and I always thought the doors looked like chocolate bars. Like hersheys or something hahaha anyway thank you~!

Old NES games gave me a love for music when growing up. I'd play the games jus to hear the music. If I learned an instrument, you can bet I'd be pumping out NES tunes.
