I decided just for fun to try and qualify for the WFD's World's Fastest Hands competition they sponsor, and it turns out I qualified for the finals! I actually took second place with 896 single strokes in 60 seconds. What a great fun experience. Modern Drummer was there, Fox Sports News, and a bunch of people! What a blast! @fSantos5150 There is nothing idiotic about using friendly competiton to improve skills that can be used in many other ways. Don't be confused, this is not musical, and no one ever said it was. However, the skills used are integral in drumming at many levels. These are not just idiotic acts performed by idiots as you suggested.
