Of course an agreement will be reached because both sides will agree to compromise. They work for the people, after all, and will do whatever will be best for Americans in general. Party politics and nitpicking have no place in this, otherwise they'll be serving themselves, not the American people.

Thanks to liberal policy the world economy is crashing. We must do two things to stop the meltdown NOW!!! Firstly, we need to raise all payroll taxes 10% for one year. We also need to stop (right now) wasteful handout programs like medicare, social security, unemployment,, etc. and lower the minimum wage to $2/hr so we can compete with China for jobs. I will work with Boehner, Ryan and my other republican colleagues and take immediate action on these proposals. God bless the GOP!

..They will probably come up with some middle-of-the-road compromises that neither stops nor reverses what the USA has been doing, which will only succeed in slowing America's downward spiral.
