Bono: Making poverty history with other peoples' money

Hello,
I've never really liked Bono from U2, so I thought I'd tell you why. Bono is not the kind charity-driven man you'd expect from his public image, at least not with his own money.

Although I really fancy the pants of the man and only want him as a future boyfriend I strongly believe the man is not the same man he used to be. I believe he is now an Illuminati agent weather willingly or manipulated under mind control. I was going to make a video clip but I feel gardenspoon has done a good job in speaking instead of me. God I wouldnt want Bono to see my ugly face due to making me feel guilty not giving his campaigns money!

You know summet ? You aren't the only one ma friend, he does my head in big time, in a strange way he is actually "profiting" out if it, not as though he is doing it for free,am I right? if you wanna give charity then don't ask for summet in return.

"MAKE POVERTY HISTORY" and what a great job he has done! more like "use make poverty history as my advertising and make my ego and wallet bigger"

the video maker has made a postive video that questions bono's motives and this hopefully lets people question bono's true motives,

make poverty history has made bono even more popular and people will buy his music, £££

Today's news - Bono's ONE foundation under fire for giving little over 1% of funds to charity. The non-profit organisation set up by the U2 frontman received almost £9.6million in donations in 2008 but handed out only £118,000 to good causes (1.2 per cent).

@mick0le0pick Actually Bono hasn't really gotten onto the green/environmental bandwagon. He has introduced a few ways in which their tour could be more environmentally friendly but he has never dictated how you should live your life.

Secondly you do not know for a fact Bono gives none of his cash away. Just because it isn't pronounced every time he does, does not mean he does not do it. In fact, he has advocated political pressure from the people not just charity

@u2atomicbomb bono has lots of cash but we should give away our money, when he gives none, he also say's we should turn off our lights and he uses a spining stage that uses tons of power or fuel for no good reason and uses loads of fuel to use

@danthedonHBB Supposition of a person's actions does not corroborate to fact. The fact is that we do not know if/how much he gives to causes.

What we do know however, is that he has experienced the brutality and poverty England brought to Ireland during the troubles and is in a position to have a partial understanding of what Africa is going through. His noble intentions might be overshadowed by the corrupting Obamas of this world, but at the heart of it I believe his intentions sound.
