The Lonesome Boatman (ocarina)

This is the well-known tune by Finbar & Eddie Furey, played on the Mountain G aluminum inline ocarina. I did a cover of this a few months back, which I've taken down. It had a very weak midi backing track that I made myself, and I wasn't happy with it. This is one of my favorite tunes to play, and I wanted to do it justice. Luckily I discovered http://jamstudio.com and was able to cobble together a decent (I think) track there. I've heard the tune played in quite a few different keys. This is in B minor (H minor, if you prefer). The reverb setting is "medium room bright," which is what I generally use with any fairly dense backing track.

This time I decided not to use the surf sound and seagulls.

@TacoGer08 Thanks. I routinely play this tune without accompaniment at open mics, and it works pretty well. It's nice to have some rhythm with it, though.
