Are Today's Teens Better Off Than Their Parents?

Every generation echoes the question from the musical Bye Bye Birdie: "Why can't they be like we were, perfect in every way, what's a matter with kids today?"

The Foundation for Child Development and the New America Foundation invite you to the annual release of the 2008 Child Well-Being Index, a comprehensive report on the overall health, education, well-being and quality of life of America's children, on Tuesday, July 22.

This event will also have a special emphasis on how teenagers have been living during this decade compared to how their parents were at the same age. The results may surprise you.
