ADX Florence Supermax Prison - Unabomber's house!

This is the Supermax Prison in Florence, CO. It's huge from the road and I can only see a small part of it. This is where the worst of the worst of our nation's scum go to die.

As the video mentions, Woody Harrelson's dad was held here after being convicted of killing a federal judge! Bizarre, right!?

This is the Supermax but it isn't. Driving down this road you can see a portion of the prison however this is not the Supermax part. The whole complex is a series of different security levels. The actual supermax prisont cannot be seen from the road. You can get a good shot of it from the nearby Summo golf course. ( kinda cool to see when you're golfing.).............. I live about 39 minutes away

This is a mega priso. Im sure they get along in there considering there is less than 500 inmates lol. But still. I say Quentin is worse because there is all kinds of inmates in there, its not supermax, but its pretty notorious. You find all types of criminals, skin heads, latin gang members, black gang members. Asians.

Dont ever mention Rikers when you talk about prisons. Rikers is not a prison. Its like a holding for petty criminals who cant afford bail, and can only be held for a year.

@TheShootTruth10 Where did I say it wasn't? It's the highest security federal prison in the system without exception. My comments earlier were about the Control Unit in USP Marion; it's medium security now despite retaining the USP heading. In the 80s and early 90s it was THE only level 6 facility in the country, and the first "Supermax" in the United States. So again, what was your question?

@ChristopherSaindon Ah, nice. I also enjoy learning about ADX ans USP penitenteries. Definitely the LAST place on earth I would want to be. I'm just interested in federal bureau of prisons for some reason, maybe from watching scared straight, lol. When it comes to more "3rd" world like countries it gets darker and scarier. With ADX supermax facilities you have way less human contact, obviously avoiding injury from serious terrorist and rape. Horrible.
