@joseph19702009 Actually they did used to have it played on stage. In fact during the gallows the band had the song "Killer" playing from the speakers while they prepared Alice to be hanged.

That's because Alice was very drunk onstage and seemed more disgusting and evil. Also the baby murder was performed in front of you instead of done while the baby is in the carriage (as performed today). A number of reasons: it's not the original band, Alice was constantly fighting, wasn't in a straight jacket, wore a more evil outfit (leather), had blood on his face, drenched in dirt and sweat, the baby had more blood and he literally mutilated it, etc.

he was wearing the straitjacket before he stared hanging himself, and he still wears the leather stuff...i seems more intense because u cant hear the actual sound of the performance, the fact that it is an old clip and it shows makes it look more RAW like..and because he had more energy then (even tho he was always drunk...but he didnt drink on stageso he couldnt really be that drunk..he even said that he didnt drink on stage cuz hed get sick from all the runnin. but alice rocks like no other!!

No by leather I implied that leather jacket. That leather jacket was a famous outfit for Alice, he wore every single night from the Killer tour to the School's Out Tour. His outfits today are more gothic/rocker and less evil. It's not the outfit that makes Alice though it's his godly amazing performance. I saw his Psychodrama Tour 3x already.

@lleo11 He has almost a clip thay you would use if you rock climb and its on a small yet tough rope enough where they hook it to his clothes and if you don't know but the clip rope is shorter than the noose!So the clip is actually holding Alice up.

@buddyboy55 Well that's the genius of it. Alice HATED the hippies and put all this macabre and dark stuff in his show because he wanted to be so different from their peace and love and flowers bs. Alice was for people like my dad, who spent the 60's working 12 hour days in the cold in Boston and barely holding his family together when he was 18 years old. Definitely not for the rich hippies who were running around college with their daddy's money singing along to the Beatles.

Saw this show at the Boston garden when I was 15.He was such a great performer.You didnt know if he was really tapped or not.That was the introduction of theatre and horror into rock.He was the 1st one and he was our hero..This band was fkin sick.
