  • @CombatSportsFan Ingo was a big underdog, Eddie Machen came to Sweden in 1958 to "knockout the fat swede". Ingo knocked him out cold in the first round.

"A lucky knock out of patterson"? You gotta be kidding, Ingo knocked floyd down SEVEN (7) times in the third round, Floyd later said that he didn't rememberd a thing from after the first knock-down. Lucky knockout? Not if you ask Floyd Patterson.

  • he was so talented but he got lazy towards the end n was flirting with secretaries n eating short cakes instead of training he could of had a better career

  • @andrewr62 Another thing to consider is this: For years Joe Walcott didnt eat. He barely made enough dough to get by. A lot of times he went into fights VERY HUNGRY and that hinders your performance because you dont have the feul to power your muscles. When Walcott finally won the title he had had several big money fights and was doing quite well financially. This is Walcott at his best because he really didnt eat too well before he got the big money fights after Louis!

  • @liktocholikt Marciano only fought has beens? Are you a freaking retard? He fought Rex Layne and Roland LaStarza who were both top notch heavyweight contenders at the time. You obviously dont know much about the era so why do you speak that which you dont know? Rex Layne was being touted as the next Jack Dempsey and LaStarza was a very good counter puncher like Gene Tunney!

  • @liktocholikt are you stupid? This is some of the most ludicrous boxing anallysis I have ever seen on youtube. You seriously need to go read some boxing books. You obviously dont know diddly squat about boxing! Rocky Marciano would have destroyed this guy and so wouldnt have Liston. He was a good right hand puncher and had some good fighting skills but he was not on that level!

  • Endelig en dansker!

  • @liktocholikt LOL

  • I don't see whats so special about this guy besides a lucky knock out of patterson ( which patterson avenged easily 2 times )

You're crazy if you think this guy could hang with sonny liston or rocky marciano

  • I am not saying Johansson was not a good champion. I feel you totally understimate the skill, power and will or Rocky Marciano as well as the oponents he faced. Walcott was passed his best but he was the reigning champion of the world when Marciano defeated him the first time. Roland La Starza was a first rate contender in his prime when defeated by Marciano.

  • @andrewr62: I don´t think Liston (and certainly not Marciano) would have gotten to Ingo (at his prime). The problem with Ingo was that after winning the title he lost interest in boxing, was not hungry anymore. I think he was the best in the world 1956-59. I´m sure that he would have knocked out Marciano and Moore. With Liston it´s more difficult to know. When I see him fight I see a big big jab and big but slow hooks. He also seems easy to hit. He was the same to Patterson as Foreman to Frazier
