Nice bike. I'm starting to ride and am interested in a Busa too. I'm also 6'3 pushing 250lbs. I believe you're right though, you need to respect the ride. Any bike can kill you if you're not careful.

Awesome bike bro. I have a 2005 yamaha vstar and I was looking into getting a sports bike. I was looking into a 2007 gixxer 600 but I found that a 2005 Hayabusa was roughly the same price. I think I'm going to go for the Busa since it feels like a more comfortable bike to ride and the 600 looks to be pretty harsh on streets. How comfortable is the ride on your Busa?

It's very comfortable for me. I'm 6'2", now about 240 lbs. It fits me great. The seat is fairly wide and you're not nearly as cramped up as you would be on a 600. But it can be a trade-off if you are only interested in carving hard, the 600 is a lot more nimble - easier to toss around. The Busa was the only way to go for me though!!! Ride safe!
