  • Excellent when was that taken, and my biggest question is... what special was that??? Why where those currogated silver cars on the train and the CP SD40?

  • Thanks. My best guess is late October 1995. Not quite sure what it was for. Maybe the Baird's Farm Train? I assume the cars were there because there were enough passengers to fill them and the SD-40 was to help get them up the hill. I don't know where they came from though. Perhaps someone else has more information on this trip.

  • For a second I thought these were Bennett Levin's PRR E's due to the color and broad stripe. But they looked and sounded great regardless.
