@HellYeahImHot No one really knows unless they were there. You do not know what the Africans were thinking or how their slaves were treated or....
Most books written were done so with a one sided view so it depends on what book you read.
Bottom line, slavery of any kind is morally wrong and evil!
-
@koolmom21 The African system of slavery was way different from then the one practiced in Europe and The Americas. A slave in West Africa could eventually buy his/her freedom if they worked hard enough, they were treated like workers. When Africans were selling their people into slavery they cannot fathom the horror and animalistic treatment that their people were to endure for hundreds of years. West African kings even tried to stop the slave trade.

@HellYeahImHot and blacks still bought them! So your point being everyone in the world is just as guilty?
-
@BlackBling01 You are wrong!
-
@koolmom21 What does it matter Whites still bought him. If I go and steal children and sold them to you are you less responsible because you didn't steal them yourself? It's supply and demand. If there was no demand for Africans there would be no need to go and supply them. Whether your right about the Muslims or not it doesn't shift any blame or make Whites in less responsible. FYI: Whether they were the last or first they still did it so what does it matter.

Malcolm X's message is as true now as it was then.
