This is part one in a three part film about one of the most popular hiking trails in the Boise Foothills. This series covers hiking the lower loop, which is approximately 8 miles in length. This is a beautiful hike with many birds along the way. Hulls Gulch has running streams early in the Spring which usually dry up by early June. On this day, the water flow was starting to slow.
This series is shot using my Sony MHS-PM1 (webbie) pocket camcorder and was edited using iMovie '09. The lighting conditions could not have been better, with virtually no haze. This was due to a much lower temperature during the time of day which I shot. Parts two and Three will follow this installment over the next week or so. You can find the GPS trail on everytrail.com if you are interested. Search for my trails using my name, tjdmobile.
