Skoda Fabia Greenline, an unplanned economy run with the 1.4 TDi PD - DPF engine in the 2009 model. With temp down to -3.5 cold start and defrost a 50 mile run from Devizes to Bournemouth, passing through Salisbury. Conditions across Salisbury Plain were poor, and snow at Fordingbridge was very heavy with parts of the road completely covered. Temp rose to +0.5 at Ringwood and sleeting, by the time I reached Bournemouth temp +3.0 and rain. Driving in cold conditions hasn't dented the advertised fuel economy of this car, and it still beats the advertised combined cycle. Lots of this journey were often made in 2nd and 3rd gear in the bad snowy bits.
