congrats my friend, this is the best hand drill i've seen by far. i've been trying to make fire lots of ways and up to this point i think this technique and the fire plunge or whatever is called. could u give me some pointers? like what wood are u using, or how much presure do you apply on the drill? anyway ur vids are great, but i'm sure u know that allready hehe.

Hey mate absoltly brilliant display of skill there. You make it look so easy it is scary. Did you find that speed was the problem with the floating hand technique when you began leaning.

@andyroid99 Hey, thanks. Yes it was a problem, but it just takes time.. you need to develop muscle memory as well as your brain memory. Once the movemtn is down then it just takes a while to build up speed.

I would sign up for a class but you are a few thousand miles from me; I will say that I've watched ALL the vid's on youtube pertaining to the craft and you are the best.

Your videos are excellent, and I'm very very appreciative. However, one major problem I have is recognising all the various types of wood you use. Can you suggest any good websites that will instruct me how to recognise these different types of tree or do you have any tips?
