  • What program you used to get the screen shots?

  • ScreenShots? Do you mean the video of my screen? If so, I use a screen recording program called ScreenFlow. Infortunately the application is $99.99

  • Im glad I found this feature, now i block access to some files and programs. the reason is my parents are new to mac and one day i came and saw my dad partitioning the hard drive from boot camp, he didn't know what he was doing.

  • Wow, you should teach him more about Macs.

  • The "staff" group is the primary group for user accounts on the system on 10.5, in 10.3 and 10.4 this was different and when adding a user they would be added to their own private group. In Unix systems a user will belong to at least one group, even if the group only contains that user. A user can belong to more than one group and may have RW in one and only read in another, this makes sense if people are collaborating on projects to have RW or only R if they only need to view the files.

  • You are correct. I just could explain that to the people who are still grasping the concept of different users. Maybe I'll make another video on groups.
