Hypomania = Godlike creativity

'Hypomania'? That's a psychiatric term. Which isn't a science and has no objective proof of anything it says, including its 374 'mental disorders' in the DSM. You are dismissed for that reason.

Lots of claims that you can do something, repeated for four minutes. No details.
HOW one relates to attempted sleep deprivation, and how to go about that well... that's what this video lacks and leaves us waiting for as a follow up.

i know what u mean. i took myself there, Dr. Williiam T Hewitts' Beyond Hypnosis. and have been there several times, i always forget to count myself down. this definately works, but first timers BEWARE. ONCE YOU OPEN THE DOOR, IT can be tricky and even scary, dont forget to close THE DOOR BEHIND YOU.

@xvsoothsayer you're lucky
maybe you should try to balance it with marijuana?

@NinetiesYouth and exhausting... there are times I wish I could just go full blown manic for one hour rather than get through days or hypomania and being a complete spaz over work, school and every issue facing humanity. I'm in hypomania righ now and I can't wait for the crash *sigh* I don't want meds, and I don't actually want to lose this energy forever since it does help, but how to balance it long term is the question. Godlike creativity is right, but its also like a 72 hour marathon

Crashing is only going to happen through suggestion. It's not a crash that you go through.. You're human. Your body and mind need to slow down at some point.

I find when I've been hypomanic, I'm usually pretty mentally drained and I'm like "I don't really wanna be open with people right now and just wanna be by myself"

After decades of medication, my mother seems to be getting stuck in pressured speech mode every waking moment. She starts talking about everyone and bringing up everything they ever did or said to her that hurt her feelings. We are talking about going back over 40 years for some of these things. How do I help her, because the doctors don't seem to be able to any more and I think the prescription drugs have given her brain damage.
'Sleep deprivation causes hypomania' - it can if you are already bipolar. It won't if you are not. People tortured with sleep deprivation don't become hypomanic - they just pass out.

@gemartii I beg to differ, sleep deprivation can quite easily lead to imbalances in brain chemistry which can easily create temporary hypomania.
