It would be like mixing speed with benzo's, dont think any doctor would give anyone that.

@dave24ie Unfortunately I was treated with benzos, antidepressants and stimulants all at once for many years. All that stopped when I was locked in the hospital and given a new psychiatrist AND a new diagnosis of Bipolar 1. Up to this point I can remember being on 23 different psychiatric drugs. My son has had stimulants briefly and I wasn't even tempted to take one." Uppers downers" is no way to live.

I'm ADD and BP II, and that fucking background noise is unbearably distracting. It's too bad, I'm interested in what you have to say, but I can't even watch your videos.

There is no main turning point when it comes to my feelings about my psychiatrist. TIME was the key. I knew not going wasn't a choice, so I just showed up for each appointment. Time has given me the hindsight to see my mental health has improved. I just gave up thinking she didn't understand me well enough to help me.
