I will be showing you how to use Ezdrummer in multichannel mode and how to get the signal to record into a stereo audio track. This will include the use of vst instruments, group tracks, audio tracks, midi tracks, midi inserts, and sends. This is part 2 in the tutorial series for Cubase 5.

Captions will be available soon.

  • Hi Luke, have the same problem commented before, once recorded a beat drum it stay in the timeline, i hope you can help me...thanks

  • @joenuts I'm not sure exactly what your saying but I'll try my best. If you recorded a beat then the data will go in the timeline as midi data. If you program them in with beat designer they don't go into the timeline untill you drag and drop each motif you created from the keyboard styles layout to a midi track timeline. Enable the bypass on beat designer to turn it off while programming your timeline for your song. Hope this helps. - Luke

  • I f**king love you bro, thx a lot for the tutorial.

  • @lukechalaudio i did everything but cant hear the beat sound why?

  • hey, this vid. is really helpful, but i have one question... Do I need to create separate group tracks if i want to get audio from each part of the drum set(hihat, snare, kick etc.), or there is another way with a single group track like u did here?

  • I have a song that I've been doing so I already had superior set up without the multichannel deal. When I do f11 and set a vst instrument, the folder that says "vst instruments" and has the green channels in it never shows up. I've fallowed every step and I've done some exploring of my own. I can get it to work on a new project, but not the one I've been working on and I hope it's not just something you have to do at the beginning or you're sol. I'd have a little meltdown.

  • this was the most confusing tutorial ever

  • thanks for let us know more about this sotware!

  • you talk like you're high xDDD

  • My version of Cubase 5 essential does not seem to have the extended mixer option. How do I go about making groups if I don't have the extended capabilities?

  • what pc are u using ?

  • thanks a lot man!

This tutorial saved my life ;p
