Harding Reynolds Building Roof Destruction

50+ mph winds tore the roof off Harding University's Reynolds building. The first chunk of copper roofing tile blew off between 3:15 and 3:30. The second chunk blew off a little after 4:00 (that's what you see in the video). Piles of debris initially blocked the front and music side of the building. As far as I could tell, nobody was injured.

I bet no one realized how valuable that copper was! It has a high resale value--petty theives are even stealing copper out of existing cables for the $! That was valuable stuff blowing around there...

I bet no one realized how much $ was blowing around in that copper. Copper has a high resale value these days and petty thieves are even stealing copper wire out of existing cable for the $! Those sheets blowing around were worth a small fortune...
