The word "systema" is a "system" for Russian. Actually, "systema" is a greek word. None of russian martial arts ever called "systema". The founder of modern russian martial arts is Aleksey Alekseevich Kadochnikov. After him, the modern russian martial arts was called "Systema Kadochnikova". One can find definition of "system" at Webster - regularly interacting or interdependent group of items forming a unified whole. That's it. Kadochnikov not only formed a unified whole, but also improved it much, based on physics laws.

I really would like to see some of those leverage techniques used in mma, those kind of chokes are very common and most of the fighters have limited scapes or just brute force trying to pop up the neck. This is very technical, yet simple, great instruction

@ismatulla i wish that i could understand him, but i know 3 words of russian. ;) i watch him because his instruction style , the way he breaks the movements down, it crosses language barriers.
