@SammieDeLuce Those aren't "facts". That's the same regurgitated fallacy that people who know NOTHING about the game spew. I guess Emmitt had the "greatest offensive line" in high school history when he ran for over 8400 yards in 4 years. That same line must have followed him to Florida where he ran for over 2,000 yards in one season. Get a clue douchebag!

As a Redskins fan I can say Emmit was one of my Favorite Players from The old school. Lynn Swann being my First and The Diesel Riggin's being My Third.

Here's a question for all the haters:
If Emmitt Smith was that bad, how is it that none of the backups that filled in for him when he was hurt, or holding out ever took his job? :s
I mean, if it was that easy to pick up yards because of the Cowboys' O-line, how come nobody ever matched his production filling in for him?
And before you say all his backups were scrubs, look at some of them:
Timmy Smith, superbowl MVP
Blair Thomas, picked 15 spots ahead of him
HERSCHEL WALKER.
Emmitt was the man.

nice video emmitt's my fav rb all time
-
how do u send the video to moviemaker im trying to make an emmitt video
-
@SammieDeLuce Truth be told no one thought the offensive line dallas had was anygood till emmitt came. Don't gimme that crap about barry sanders being better. emmitt smith is the all-time leading rusher for positive yardage and sanders is the all-time leading negative yardage rusher so yea facts are facts... shut your trap. emmitt smith was the most determined hardest working running back of all time, a true competitor, and hero.

my fav rb of all time

@SammieDeLuce if u watch barry snaders ull realize he bounces around 2 much..hes not a consistant runner..when he could run right up the hole he choosess to bounce around and usually he lost yards..the differance is..he would come out with a huge run here and there..emmitt smith was a more complete running back...sanders was more athletic

Just open movie maker up, then drag whatever file you want onto it. It should create a folder with the movies name, from there you can just drag the movie into the time thing thats at the bottom, cut and edit it, and preview it.

The best?? I don't think so
Emmitt can thank his offensive line and Jimmy Johnson for putting together that line.
Emmitt Smith is a PRODUCT of his OFFENSIVE line.
If Sanders or Dorsett ran behind that line, Emmitt would NOT be the rushing king today
If Emmitt ran behind the line Barry Sanders ran behind, he probably wouldn't of eclipsed the 10,000 mark- which goes to show you how GREAT Barry was
I like Smith's heart and I like the Dallas Cowboys
but
Facts are Facts

I agree, Emmitt did have a great line, but there is absolutely no way the line was what made him great. Maybe it made him look better, Smith wasn't fast, but he was strong, he could push through and avoid the tacklers. People act as though if he hadn't been a cowboy he'd be a second stringer or something lol. Emmitt was not simply a product of his line, the man could run.
