Chevy 3500 Diesel Crawl

*Update* I no longer own this truck. The transmission went out, and I didn't want to spend the money to fix it, so I sold it to get another truck. A Ford this time ;) My 1994 Chevy 3500 Diesel crawling a small hill just outside of town. Thanks to blueyota4x4 for helpin me film it.

How do you like the 6.5td? what year is it?

I really like my 6.5. It's not the most powerful diesel truck, but it's bulletproof =) It's a 1994, which was the first year of the Electronic Injection. The only problem I've had with it is the PMD, which is very common problem and is easy to fix. If you're looking at getting a 6.5 Diesel, I'd say go for it :) Hope this helps.

i love my 92 chevy 3500 with the MECHANICAL 6.5- just saying in my own opinion im a mechanical engine guy and i like the fact that if my old girl breaks down on the road i can pop the hood and crawl her home-unlike an electronic where a small censor goes bad and shuts the whole truck down-anyway lol.. <3 my detroit

i own a 1994 z71 crew cab and the trans they come with do.. suck.. well 150,000 miles in it went out and cost 600$ to fix

The 6.5 is the best diesel. It is cheap to make good enough power without losing mpg. It is also, definitely bullet proof. Rear main bolts changed then pmd moved- you're looking at perfection

Would you recommend that one I just posted? I might buy it, pulls strong and sounds in great shape to me. I have an ear for gas engines, but that would be my first diesel. I really like that 95+ crewcab a lot :s
