Even I know that Alan is an actor much beyond Snape. I love his portrayals of varied characters such as Rasputin, Colonel Brandon, Hans Gruber (unforgettable), the Sheriff of Nottingham, the sweet lovable Jamie...I love all his work...heck, I even loved Absolem from 'Alice'!!
