Hunted by the Ming from China, young Kotaro and his dog meet a nameless samurai ("Nanashi") who is haunted by memories of his past which have led him to avoid drawing his sword ever again. Among the Ming is a fearsome Western fighter named Luo-Lang, whose only desire is to find a worthy opponent. When both groups clash with a Sengoku-era feudal lord, a proud general, and monks torn between faith and survival, the reason behind the Ming's pursuit tests the bond between Kotaro and Nanashi.

This movie was sooo awesome....i loved the storyline and the music was so beatiful....and those fights...in final battle i was trembeling with excitment...Great movie

omg. this looks good. even if theres no romance in it, i'll try watching this. can anyone recommend any other good ninja/samurai anime? ive been loving it ever since i watched katanagatari ( i adore it ) i have this disease where i can only watch animes with romance in it...so if you know of animes that have romance and are ninja/samurai, that would be a bonus. I'll still try watching those that arent. The art must also be modern and nice too please :DDDD THANKS!

This is out on DVD now everywhere in English and Japanese, its great anime film.
