During a Powder River Basin trip back in 2009 I caught two Union Pacific coal trains heading south out of the Basin together south of Bill, WY. A mine-bound empty 'splits the uprights' heading the other way.

@sevenswanstudio That was a Grade Crossing signal normally used to warn highway traffic a train is coming. It is also a greeting.
