Southlake vs Allen in 2009 Round 2 of Division 2 Texas 5A High School Football Playoffs.
The game at Cowboys Stadium on November 21st will probably go on the records as being the craziest, most exciting game ever. The Dragons played their hearts out to win in double overtime 35-34.

talk all you want about 5-0 against allen. southlake hasn't done ANYTHING since doge left. they went from dynasty to average pretty quick!

3A State Titles in 1988, 1992,1993 and were a powerhouse then too.
5A State Titles in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, and now 2011.
Only second HS in TX to 3 peat with the Dragon's 3rd consecutive State Title win in 2006.
Got to be one of the greatest programs ever in TX if not the greatest.

Southlake Carroll Dragons! Protect the Tradition! 8 TX State 5A Football Championships (tied with Celina 3A for the most in TX history).
1st year moving up from class 4A to class 5A in 2002, SLC went 79-1 from 2002 to 2006 winning 4 out of 5 State Titles and were ranked 1st in the nation 3 years running with their only loss to the Katy Tigers 16-15 in the 2003 State Title Game.
49 consecutive wins, tying the TX 5A record set by Abilene HS from 1954-1957.
