  • Thank you for posting that wonderful video. I used to go there as a child in the sevinties and always have had the same memories as you of that theatre. It was a magical place and I too miss it very much.

  • We lived in Mont Vernon at the time, but we had always gone to the Wilton Townhall, or to the newer cinemas in Nashua. I understand Manchester lost a great deal of beauty earlier in the century when they had to cut down all the elms killed by the Dutch Elm blight.

  • Too bad it was torn down. I don't remember this theater, though. I was born in 1963 and it was torn down in 1978. I'll have to ask if we ever went there when we were kids. It's a shame that the Notre Dame bridge was torn down, too. I remember that and when they were making the decision to tare in down.
