I'm not going to explain your country's history to you (seriously what do they teach in american schools?) but i will throw you a bone. Cause and effect. Tarriffs and declining trade, along with the great oklahoma dustbolw effect, marginalized by government tax impositions and failure to regulate commisions like lending and borrowing. the way the government operated was to allow banks to become privatized, and then turn the screws to them. Most little banks were independant and went bankrupt too

you are very wrong on this. The socioeconomic factors were MUCH greater than simply stating that the banks caused the depression. You could not have made a more glib interpretation.I dont have to "respect the times", statistically many places in the u.s. are much worse off currently than they ever have been before, and i wouldnt think it was funny or romantic if some piece of shit tried to steal my car and use "hard times" as an excuse
