Recording Help Wanted

I'm having a couple issues with recording my next Let's Play episode.

1) Lag during transitions, like equipping items or moving from one area to another.

2) Frame skipping during recording, especially when dashing across the screen.

If you know anything about recording these things, please let me know what I can do to alleviate them.

UPDATE: I believe I have solved the problem now. This video remains for archival purposes.
