  • i was wondering when you were going to post this. i was sitting directly behind you. btw, the recording does not do her voice or symphony justice, at all. still in disbelief they didn't do tina/terras theme, ugh.

  • Haha, I definitely agree it doesn't do it much justice, but apart from the CD there's not much else of her. She is most of the the reason I went to both Michigan shows, and Kiss Me Goodbye was a huge bonus.

  • This was so amazing in person, I was hoping someone would upload it :D Her voice is incredible! Thank you~

  • Wish I had recorded Kiss Me Goodbye in addition to this. I wasn't sure how easy it would be to not have people notice I was recording. Glad you liked it though, she really is amazing.

  • @hitokage4 Not Manhatten...It's Brooklyn. That's where I live. I booked tickets within the hour the update came about. I'm very excited

  • @Joethemithra -- I can still remember the day standing out in Blueblade Fell when I got this final cutscene. This was before they nerfed the missions to hell and back, when it took 3 solid months of play with very few strats on how to beat any of it to complete this mission line. I was on vent with my group of six that beat this together, and I cried. I saw this live in Chicago, and I was 5 rows back and 10 seats over from Uematsu himself.

  • @icyrazor -- Did you know they're coming to Manhattan April 1st and 2nd this year??

  • Wish they'd come to NYC! =\

  • the other singer is better D:

  • yeah i saw this concert and both in chicago in the last few years. this version, specifically, destroys the ones in chicago. was much sorter and didnt have as good a setlist i thought. terras theme was a very pleasant surprise tho.

  • The DSO is amazing. I wanted to see this so much!

  • lol! very nice performance.

I bet no one who seen this video knows this song is from Final Fantasy XI. FF XI never got the respect it deserves. I been playing FF XI since 2003 and i still enjoy it.BTW if u like this song try to get some of the box sets for FFXI.Great music there.

  • From all the vocalists who performed this song, I think Susan Calloway had the best and most fitting voice for the song. I'm glad they had the sense to have her sing in the D.W. cd! Her performance is quite superior to Elisabet Strid or Izumi Masuda, even if she is the original vocalist of this song. Original isn't always the best, in my opinion. But this piece is absolutely brilliant altogether!!!

  • Love this! Wish I was back in Motown for this performance. Guess Ill have to wait for Chicago in December (brrr). For others who appreciate Susans voice like I do you might like her new solo album Chasin the Sun on iTunes or CD on her new website (susancalloway) that just underwent a huge facelift. I've been loving it!
