This animation shows the movements of all planets, Sun, Moon and the three Centaurs Chiron, Pholus, Nessus within BOTH the normal tropical ecliptic/zodiac (inner circle with grey symbols for the twelve signs) AND the sidereal wheel of constellations (coloured outer circle)! The positions of the planets is shown within the table to the right in sidereal coordinates with respect to the constellations. The angles between the planets are the same as in the other animation. The shift between both zodiacs reflects the precession of the equinoxes: The tropical zodiac starts at the vernal equinox which is the 0° of Aries. This Aries (inner circle lefthand) is within the constellation Pisces due to the effect of the precession. The positions are in hourly steps starting from 1/1/2010 until 1/31/2010 for Greenwhich UK, in UT (Universal Time). Use as learning tool and as daily/hourly ephemeris for November. Use the other animation to get normal astrological positions within the standard (precessed) zodiac (inner circle). Modern astrology works only for special purposes with the constellations. Their use is difficult due to the fact that the constellations vary in their extent. The standard zodiac takes into account the precession and divides the 360° circle into 12 equal 30° signs.
