Unedited: Tim Conway destroys his cast mates during a "Mama's Family" sketch on the "Carol Burnett Show" by refusing to let the scene continue until he can finish a story about a circus elephant.

Tim Conway, in ad-libbing all of this, was determine to have Vicki Lawrence break character and crack up, a challenge to him. Although she came close, she held on and turned the tables on him. Other than the bleeped *sshole comment made by Mama/Vicki, it was aired "as is" on TV. I remember seeing it on the original run and even my straight-laced mom almost fell out of her chair laughing so hard.

@KoDominoEffect Do you mean at the end of the sketch? If so, Vicki Lawrence says: Sure that little @ss_ _ _ _'s through? Then the whole cast loses it.

One can only image how poor Harvey Korman would have reacted had he been in this scene. He was probably backstage thanking God he wasn't part of it.

I used to love watching this show growing up. I don't know how they kept it together as good as they did. Sometimes just looking at Tim Conway you have to bust out laughing just from the look on his face! Great Show wish they ran re-runs of it

When Tv was worth looking at!!!! At 0:40, you can tell Tim Conway, the PRO, is NOT FINISHED with his story!!! Vickey Lawrance slayed the cast AND the audience! with her ad-lib!!
