Quick video showing the Mortal Kombat micro arcade machine I have built with illuminated marquee and coin door. Power switches and brightness switch are now located on the coin door.

Video also shows some other Micro Arcade machines Im working on including: Joust, Galaga, Donkey Kong and Xevious.
These will also include an illuminated marquee and coin door with working buttons.

If you would like me to make you one, then email me at:

Check out the video I have of the desktop load of working arcade machines here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MblnbUURHjY

  • could you fit old game boy and game boy color games in the gap between the bottom of the cabinet and the bottom of the GB advanced SP?

I enjoy playing my old games on my GBA sp and it would be fun to play them on an arcade cabinet.

  • @applemac452

Unfortunately the way I have it setup , it will only fit GBA games. The lcd cable makes it difficult to orient the gba game slot in a way that will fit a gameboy cart in this size cab.

  • :O i would buy this for $50 or even 100

  • @danieluzumaki14

If only a GBA SP AGS-101 (backlit) didn't cost me $65 and the joystick didn't cost $15 + $30 postage and the other parts didn't cost $60 and the cab didn't take 4-5 days to make by hand - then yes it would be possible

  • DUDE, i'll give you 30 bucks for one of those!

  • holy mother of god. you are a genius and a real artist. I would love to have one of these in my table. how much for a mini mortal kombat cabinet?

  • rad

  • hi vic,

could u please email me ur flicker account link for the build process,

    thanks

    PS still loving your work

  • Nice job man, I live in Melbourne also, these are cool, can you still charge the GBA battery from within the cabinet ?

I think you re-wire the control buttons etc right, I wouldn't have a clue on how to do that, I was thinking of making my own little setup but without pulling the GBA apart at all just build a cabinet around it with various supports for the GBA to rest on inside the cabinet and sort out buttons that rest on top of the original buttons, need to think about that...
