Gorgeous wild mojave rattler rescued, set free, and filmed in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. Great close-ups, action shots, and tongue-flickering!

  • "Rescued"?? From WHAT??

  • getting killed by my dogs, my goats, my duck, or my husband!

  • Great snake shots!

  • thanks!

  • hey, was the tongue flickering in slow-mo?

if i'm correct, snakes flicker real quick

  • No, not at all. The speed of flickers varies widely among species. Sometimes it depends on how agitated the snake is. But all those flickers are real time speed. I never do slow mo with snakes. They're usually slow enough -- except for coachwhips! Thanks for your comment.
