Sako does not b-link. Please refrain from the insults please. He does 1-frames purely. Besides Ibuki 1-frame jab link is not as difficult as it seems, you get use to the timing after a bit.

@Kisaiele The cabinets thing I understand. But as far as unmodified sticks, pro ibuki players like Sako use an different arcade stick that have the Back and Start buttons in the front face together with all the other buttons, that allows them to blink without modifying anything using their little finger and index finger. As far plinking and SSF4 goes, I think the game might be better without it.

@MrWaffleSlapper well, that is true, but there are some tournaments (especially in Japan) where u play on cabinets, as cabinets cannot be rewired, blinking is not possible. There are also some minor tournaments (compared to EVO) where they specifically say "unmodified sticks", tho noone checks them actually. I play Ibuki, and dont think that blinking is cheap, we need it, and most characters can plink their 1-frame links so, why not us?

@Kisaiele I got confirmation from an EVO judge that blinking is completely legal in every way. It's implemented in the game itself, you're not cheating. And Sako blinks his jabs, there's videos out there when he plays Ibuki, he blinks every single time. Double tapping is illogical and won't work at all when you want to link a 1 frame combo due to its negative edge input.

he doesnt blink he just double taps, blinking is banned in some tournaments, there'd be no use on practicing something u cant use when shit gets real.

@Choiboi1994 Whoops, sorry about the EX part, Ibuki didn't even flash yellow... I just looked at the inputs and saw 3 punches. But yeah, the command grab would have combo'ed if he wouldn't have gotten stunned.

@MrWaffleSlapper yeah but if you look at the inputs, it's really clear that he didn't go for the EX command grab. I thought he went for regular command grab to build meter while Guy was in the stun animation. :P

@Choiboi1994 No. The command grab whiffed because he went into stun animation which gives people temporary invulnerability until they actually stand up. Sako probably went to the EX command grab to stun him, but the s.MK got him instead.
