This is my Buddipole outside my apartment complex. It attached to a Painters pole I purchased from Home Depot. Its up about 25 feet and does an excellet job receiving and transmitting. The coils are set for 20 meters. My wife video taped this for me. See my other video for the Icom 756 its attached to.

  • Have you tried a Chameleon Antenne? They usually cover 2M to 80M and they're weather proof. No need to attach plastic bag to protect the loading coils. Also no need to touch the antenna for tuning. Simply use your antenna tuner.

  • Great setup! I was just wondering how the painters pole attached to the buddipole at the top?
