*Now with exciting behind-the-sweat annotations!*
The job was real. The pay left much to be desired.
Originally filmed in summer 2007, I filmed this for a now-defunct Discovery show spoof contest that never even aired it's second time around. Some things are just too good to air on TV I guess. Their loss, your gain.
You got the nuance down! Did they air this one? Mine was accepted for the upcoming "You Spoof Discovery 2.0"

Nope. Haven't heard a word from Discovery. Kinda makes me wonder what's going on-- I haven't heard anyone or anything about 2.0 yet even airing.
Thanks about the nuance-- the best part is, it's just about being yourself... and screwing up more than you expected to-- just like Mike. ;)

Thanks for the comments on my tomb and survivorman spoofs. I need the advice since i dont really have any experience with these things and pretty much made the videos up as i went along. Good job on your video it looks pretty professional.

Thanks!
I'm always willing to offer advice to budding filmmakers. There's nothing wrong with guerilla filmmaking, though like you did-- the editing was nicely done. Some however get uber-defensive. They can't discern between constructive criticism and a personal attack. If there's one thing I learned in my pursuit of working in entertainment is that it's best to bite your tongue and listen, rather than getting sore.

Classic.
Good to see you found a job...
Come back to NYC, you could temp as Mayor.

Well, not THIS job, thank god. That was a week's work.
I dunno if I want to be mayor... I'd have to listen to Hilary screech.
