Part 2 of 2 - Watercolour landscape painting demo featuring Eskdale in Cumbria near the Woolpack Inn. I'm using 15" x 11" Fabriano watercolor paper weighing 130lb. My palette consists of Cotman watercolours Raw Sienna, Burnt Umber, Light Red, Ultramarine, Lemon Yellow, Payne's Gray and Alizarin Crimson. My main brush is a large Ron Ranson hake -- excellent for the fast and loose watercolor painting technique. I also use a number 3 rigger and a ¾" flat. Thanks for watching but why not have a go, it's easier than you think!

  • @Lizzeee68 very kind of you to say so.

  • pure brilliance

  • @sionatube yes, it's just a stone wall scraped out with a plastic card. It's a simple technique but can prove very effective. Thanks for watching.

  • Ah, now I know what the "thing" on the right hand side is. I first thought it was a darkened corn field but now I think it's a mur with all those bricks standing out (kinda typical of british countryside?)

nice painting like always! it's very interesting watching you do that because one would never know where it ends and gives also ideas how to make such a painting onseself.
