Favoritism cannot be escaped or eluded. It is a natural process of selection and therefore is not always wrong.
Favoritism is simple prejudice towards someone or something for personal reasons. Becoming God's favorite, living in the glow as a favorite of God is an anointing. God has decided that He can use you and therefore bestows his favor upon you. God's favor separates a person from others by the form of special love and anointing that God shows towards them. When God's favor is on you, it's just on you.
