@Miply, my point is HOMONYMS. Sargent and Sergeant sound identical, but have different spellings with divergent uses and similar origins (as you'd expect, the surname "Sargent" does have origin with the *word* "sergeant"). They're both valid spellings, one as a word (like "duchess") and one as a name (like "Dutchess"). :}

They just stand up on there own eventually. My German Shepherd Chip's ears took longer to stand up straight. sometimes they stand up quickly on there own, and other times they take a long time. Chip's flopped every direction before they finally stood up. I think he was around 6 months old. :) It's perfectly normal for the ears to flop all crazy before they stand up though.
