Robotwars Series 5 Heat I Part 4

The fifth wars saw a return to the same fighting format as Series 3, with 4 one on one clashes for round 1 and it was similar to Series 3 with 8 contestants a heat. The question on everybody's mind was if the two time and current Robotwars UK Champion Chaos 2, could clinch an unthinkable third title. The familiar faces of Craig Charles and Johnathan Pearce remain in the spotlight and Phillipa Forrester has returned for the fifth wars. The 8 robots in Heat I are Splinter, Viper 01, Bigger Brother, Tip-Top, Onslaught, Tetanus, 3 Stegs To Heaven and Eleven.

@kemp10 If you did a bit more research you would find that Sir Killalot weighed 520kg.

@athull08 Maybe Bigger Brother's flipper was low gas because had already flipped TSTH multiple times and he flipped shunt as well.

@Kingcorkscrew No idea why. Those stats would have Killalot lighter than Growler, which is obviously wrong.

Don't forget, to flip Killalot over you're not lifting his whole weight, as one side of him is still resting on the floor. I don't think Bigger Brother could flip anywhere near half a tonne.

@athull08 Sir Killalot weighed 520 kg which is just over half a tonne, so he was a little bit to heavy for Bigger Brother. Also why didn't they put Sir Killalot's real wieght in his description on TV?

Bigger Brother claimed they could flip half a tonne.

But Killalot weighed half a tonne, and they could never even get him off the ground.

It just shows the scale of Firestorm's achievment in flipping Mr. Psycho over, with Mr Psycho being heavier than Killalot by over 200 kilos.

That was Ian's fault - he pushed too far forwards. Otherwise, they would have become the only robot ever to flip all its opponents out in a heat.
