Absolutely beautiful! Tommy Is great! He has the appearance of Jojo Mayer, no one can hate these guys, their amazing. I'll always respect because of these amazing musicians.

I remember he threw away a cymbal in the middle of a superfast lick, making a gesture to one of the stage crew guys. Apparently it wasn't attached properly.

Unfortunately the cymbal didn't fly into my hands :)

haha. Tommy is soooo cool. he checks his watch in the middle of his solo to check if he's going over the alloted time for his performance.

I totally agree, Tommy can groove, but he's a PROPER, serious musician dude in the traditional sense. Plus he's one of the top drummers in the world, just check out how much is going on in this vid... His left hand is going overtime...It's crazy stuff... He's a stunning musician, it probably helps that he spends all his time jamming with other 'proper' musicians - that's got to help develop your musicianship...?

Tommy's amazing, I love that he lives to drum, he's ssoooo relaxed and at home behind the kit..! Kinda' reminds me of Bernard Purdie (not in style obviously - just how much he loves drumming)...

@EmEeArCee actually on that special part the solos are not necesarilly all the same thats what it was made for, check out hes other videos,,, its NOT the same ,some people just foget that music isn't all about brains most of times they let it all out, that's why you practice everyday for someday everything just comes out of you.

I read on his blog that the stage managers in Germany were timing the performers down to the second and he was trying to not go over. There were peeps from Zildjian on his side with stop watches out trying to make him laugh. Pretty cool that he's so loose and casual about it and still can play all that amazing shit.

Wish all you experts would take note that he's playing music, not drums. What he does musically is why his drumming is so excellent. Ideas plus musicality. Got it? Playing fast around the drums is NOT what a drummer is meant to do.
