kids... look at the sidemarker lights in the bumblebee stripe. if it was a 70 then they would be longer and have chrome around them. also the 70 stripe is more slanted than the 69's. the 70 rt tail light panel only had a black out between the lights. all 69's had the whole backend black with chrome on the trunklid and around the sides.. i thought it was a 70 at first too.

I have a 70 and want to do a 69 front clip. How difficult was the swap? I know I need hood, fenders, grill etc. but what about the headlights? Did you add the electronics or keep them vacuum operated? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Killer car by the way!

@mckelvie77 I did actually buy it like this, already swapped. The headlights are totally different between 68/69 and 70. The 70 has one single electric motor which controls both headlight doors..so you would need that too! Thanks..yes it's killer! :)
