This is extraordinary. Who designed and cut the stencils? It is genius to be able to break down the image into so many developmental layers...wow

Thanks! The stencils were converted from Chuck Close's original linocut by Shannon Kelley and Ruth Lingen. I worked with them for 4 summers and I still don't get how they do it.
