  • This is extraordinary. Who designed and cut the stencils? It is genius to be able to break down the image into so many developmental layers...wow

  • Thanks! The stencils were converted from Chuck Close's original linocut by Shannon Kelley and Ruth Lingen. I worked with them for 4 summers and I still don't get how they do it.
