Many thanks for taking time to write comments about the book. Rick Newman was a gifted colleague. We worked well together. The book was both a joy to write and an arduous effort to research and assemble. We had to get an extension from Random House as both of us were covering the Iraq war - me for CNN, Rick for US News & WR. Vietnam was one helluva war - it's a wonder any of us are still alive - Don Shepperd

I just finished the book. It is a great tribute to our Military men, women, and thier families. I will be giving this book to my son as soon as he is old enough (now 4) as these heroic stories are truly amazing and deserved to be passed down to future generations.

I'm reading "Bury Us Upside Down" right now. I'm about half way through the book and I can't put it down. I salute all of you guys, the Mistys!
