I got my IWC catalog from a shop called Hoover's in New Orleans that specializes in fine, rare and antique time pieces. Some higher end jewelry stores that offer IWC pieces may also have them available.

hi everyone,
where do I find a watch with these repeater functions but in a more affordable battery operated movement but in decent quality case (steel with sapphire crystal)? I also want the old school sound not "beep beep" like a Casio. Looking to spend from $500 to $900. Thanks.

where can i get a catalog of IWC watches?
their website is so bad...
A minute repeater includes two "hammers" and two "gongs", each hammer strikes one gong and the gongs each have a very distinct sound so you can tell them apart. The minute repeater first strikes the "hours count" (e.g. for 11:49, it will strike 11 times on the hour gong), then the minutes (for 11:49, it will strike three times for the 15-minute interval (meaning 45 minutes) PLUS four minutes (past the 11:45 already chimed). All three sounds are different so you can clearly tell the time.
