@0691VIVIAN , I don't think this has anything to do with the wife's looks(she obviously is a pretty lady and when it shows her all glamorous in that fancy bed and him thinking about her probably is emphasizing on this )It's about the man's regret over his action.the song/video is about importance of fidelity in relationship when there is love in between and the fact that when one party makes such a huge mistake takes the ultimate consequence and the video show this perfectly.

@0691VIVIAN ,I always found this music video disrespectful to the wife, showing her face dancing with the man and then the song going :scent of the other woman lingers, as if he isn't contented with her. it just doesn't fit since the lady really is quite an attractive woman while may be not a conventional beauty.

@TheNel1974 The wife was once a stranger who the man fell in love with.... 'Falling in love' and 'love' are two different things. 'Attraction' is yet a different matter (Excuse my digression).
On the other hand, I partly agree with you. 'Some things look better baby just passing through' - the idea of having an affair with a stranger illusively seems to be more attractive than the long-term relationship with a husband/wife. It could be someone singing to his/her potential lover.

The husband cheats on wife in the video, but the director didn't even bother to show the other woman assuming this hot guy is too good looking for his wife so it's only the matter of time he goes and sleeps with another woman.when the song goes:it's no sacrifice, it's two hearts living in two separate world it's suggesting:being faithful to you is no sacrifice since the other woman is only stranger and there is no love between us.or if a mam really love his woman,then her look wont matter.
